Terms of Use
The deal is simple, so these terms can be too. Here's what you're buying, what you can do with it, and the promises we're making back.
1guide is a service operated by Soki World LLC (“we,” “us”). These terms are an agreement between you and Soki World LLC.
What your purchase buys
One payment — the price shown at checkout — buys a personal license to your Personalized Handbook: the complete handbook and the print copy. The license never expires — no renewal, no clock, and no subscription is required to keep any of it.
The handbook is a living document: chapters are updated as the published research matures, and your license covers the handbook as it evolves — you always read the current edition. A copy you print or save as a PDF is a snapshot of the edition at the moment you saved it.
Lifetime access means exactly this: every update to the handbook's chapters is yours, your access never expires, and no re-purchase is ever asked. Membership — Coach: the daily check-off, the guided habit path, reminders, and your progress record — is a separate subscription, and nothing the handbook includes ever moves behind it.
Personal means personal: it's for you and the mirror you stand in front of. Please don't resell the handbook, republish it, or pass copies around — the studies behind it are public, but this distillation of them is what you paid for.
Membership
Membership is a separate subscription covering the extra help and accountability — Coach — the daily check-off, the guided habit path, reminders timed to your routine, and your progress record — with the full handbook included while it runs: $9.99 a month or $59.99 a year, renewing automatically until you cancel. Cancel any time from your account page; your access — including the handbook membership includes — runs to the end of the period you paid for. A handbook bought outright never expires, membership or not.
Deleting your account (Privacy Policy → Delete your account and data) is stronger than canceling: deletion is total, so any running membership is canceled immediately — access ends with the account rather than at period end, and no further charges occur. Refund eligibility is unaffected: the 7-day window below applies the same either way.
The 7-day refund covers the one-time handbook. Membership doesn't need one: cancel any time and you're never charged again, with everything open to the end of what you paid for.
Refunds
If it doesn't stick, email us within 7 days and we'll refund it. Keep the handbook. That's the whole policy: email support@1guide.co within 7 days of purchase, from the address you bought with, and we'll refund the purchase in full. You don't need a reason and we won't ask for a performance.
What this product is (and isn't)
The handbook is educational content: the published research on skincare, distilled and ordered for your answers. It is not medical advice, not a diagnosis, and not a substitute for a clinician. If something on your skin worries you — a mole that's changed, a rash that won't settle, a reaction to a product — see a doctor, not a handbook.
Your account
Sign-in works by codes and links we email you, so your email address is your key. Keep it current, and keep the inbox yours — anyone who can read your email can open your account.
The usual legal basics
We work to keep the product accurate, available, and worth what you paid, and we don't promise perfection: the service is provided as-is, and our total liability to you is capped at what you paid us. If we update these terms, the new version appears here with a new date at the top; changes never shrink a license you already bought. These terms are governed by the laws of the State of New Mexico, where Soki World LLC is organized.
