Privacy Policy

1guide provides personalized, evidence-based guides and optional memberships across wellness and self-improvement topics. You give us an email address and a short quiz's worth of answers about the thing you came to work on. Here's exactly what happens to them — what we keep, where it lives, what we send you, and how to have all of it deleted.

1guide is operated by Soki World LLC, organized in New Mexico, USA — the data controller for the information described here. Postal: 1209 Mountain Road PL NE, STE R, Albuquerque, NM 87110, USA. Reach us anytime at support@1guide.co.

Effective August 14, 2026 · Applies to every guide and membership operated under 1guide · Data controller: Soki World LLC

What we collect

  • Your email address, verified with the 6-digit code we send. It's your account: it's how your plan, your purchase, and your progress stay connected — across whichever guides you use.
  • Your quiz answers— whatever the guide you took asks (for the skincare guide, that's skin type, main concern, shaving habits, and the rest). They exist to build your plan and to keep it yours when you come back.
  • Your progress, if you use a tracker: which habits you've checked off and when, so your streak survives a new phone.
  • Usage analytics— which pages get visited, where people drop off, which steps of the quiz and checkout complete. We use PostHog for this. Until you verify an email these events are keyed to a random id; after you verify, they're keyed to your email address so your own steps read as one person. Events also carry a few coarse, rounded-off quiz answers — never the specifics you typed (for the skincare guide, that's your age range, skin-tone group, and main concern) — plus which ad campaign brought you, so we can tell which version of the product works. Your detailed quiz answers never go to PostHog. We use all of this to make the product better, not to follow you around the internet — and you can turn off the in-browser part in Your privacy choices.
  • Payment is handled by Stripe. Your card number goes to Stripe and only to Stripe — we never see it, and we never store it. What we keep is the receipt: that your purchase happened. On your statement the charge shows as 1GUIDE.CO followed by the product — for example 1GUIDE.CO* SKINCARE.
  • Ad measurement, only while we run ads. If you arrive from one of our ads on Meta (Facebook/Instagram), the site reports the steps that follow — page view, verified email, checkout, purchase — back to Meta so we can tell which ads were worth running. At purchase that report includes a hashed (one-way scrambled) version of your email; your quiz answers are never part of it. When no ads are running, none of this fires.

Where it lives

Your account, answers, and progress are stored with Supabase, our database provider, on servers they secure. Access is limited to what the product needs to work — there's no side door where the team reads quiz answers for fun.

What we send you

Sign-in codes and links when you ask for them, a receipt when you buy, and a few emails about your own plan — daily reminders only if you turned them on, check-ins as your first weeks land, and a short run of evidence notes (it ends on its own) if you took a quiz but didn't buy. Every email that isn't a code or a receipt has a working way to turn it off.

Under 13

Every quiz asks your age band first. If the answer is under 13, the quiz ends there: no email is requested, no answers are saved, nothing about the visit is collected or kept. These products are written for adults.

Your privacy choices

The ad measurement above shares funnel steps (and, at purchase, a hashed email) with Meta — California's privacy law calls that “sharing” and gives you the right to opt out of it. We don't sell personal information, and we extend the same opt-out to everyone, not just California:

You are not opted out in this browser. Opting out stops ad-measurement sharing with Meta and turns off analytics capture, here, immediately.

The choice lives in a cookie in this browser only — other browsers and devices have their own switch. Purchases still work either way.

Opting out here stops, in this browser: the Meta pixel (it never loads), the report of your purchase to Meta, and PostHog analytics capture. The choice is scoped to the whole 1guide.co domain, so it holds across every guide you visit. If your browser sends the Global Privacy Control signal, we treat it as this same opt-out automatically — nothing to click. What still works either way: your account, your plan, your purchase, and the receipt we keep that your purchase happened.

Prefer to do it by email, or want the same choice applied to a purchase you already made? Write to support@1guide.co — same monitored inbox as everything else on this page.

And the biggest privacy choice of all is self-service too: delete your account and data. The whole story — what goes, what stays, and why — is in Deleting your data below.

What we never do

We don't sell your data. We don't rent it or trade it, and nobody buys access to your answers — they exist to build your plan, and the ad measurement above is the full extent of what any advertising platform ever receives. That's the whole arrangement.

Deleting your data

Do it yourself, right now: go to Delete your account and data, sign in with the code we email you — that code is how we verify it's really you — and confirm. Your account, quiz answers, plan, progress, reminder settings, and our record of emails sent to you are deleted on the spot.

Two things survive, each for one reason. Stripe keeps the transaction records the law requires them to keep — a legal obligation, and we never saw your card number anyway. And we keep one suppression entry — your address and the note that you deleted your account — whose only job is making sure we never email you again. That's us honoring your choice, not keeping your data.

Prefer email? Write to support@1guide.co from the address on your account and ask — a human runs the same deletion by hand.

Questions

Same address: support@1guide.co. Replies land with a human. If we change this policy, the changes show up on this page with a new date at the top.
